Where Children Grow and Learn Together

Get Inspired

At St. Patrick’s Preschool, we value creativity and community in addition to early academic learning. We are an inclusive and accepting organization, and we practice the Biblical principle of “Love your neighbor as yourself,” Mark 12:31. Our students benefit from the joys of expressive visual art, music, and movement, with the goal to nurture an affinity for life-long learning. To that end, we foster education through purposeful play and artistic communication, using a theme-based preschool curriculum that draws from the cultural diversity of our students and their parents. Join us and inspire your child to learn, play, and grow.

Classes

St. Patrick’s Preschool fosters child development through creativity and the arts, exploration of nature, emphasis on healthy habits, language development, and number sense. Our curriculum provides a well-rounded, enjoyable learning experience for each student while geared toward expectations for kindergarten readiness.

Our experienced educators meet children where they are and design creative lessons to inspire curiosity and growth. Dramatic play, art, blocks, manipulatives, books, music, and movement are explored each day in our classrooms enhancing learning and social development.

Our Twos will learn social skills such as sharing, taking turns, and being comfortable away from at-home adults. Gross motor skills will be enhanced with active outdoor play as well as dance and movement. Fine motor skills will develop as they paint, color, and work with other art materials and manipulatives.

Kindergarten readiness is the primary focus in the four-year-old classrooms. Children will be introduced to math and literacy objectives. Activities are designed to promote phonetic awareness, reading readiness, letter recognition, sound and symbol relationships along with comprehension and memory skills. Concepts in math include number recognition, patterns, one-to-one correspondence, sorting and classifying.

Our Threes will expand their social skills and enhance their self-esteem through small group play. Language skills are encouraged through books, songs, and show-and-tell. Gross motor skills are developed through movement and games. Stringing beads, working puzzles, and using manipulatives, along with pencils, crayons, and art materials, strengthen important fine motor muscles.
